Rihanna's 777 Tour

Rihanna wanted to promote her album Unapologetic and her world tour called Diamonds by doing the 777 tour. She designed this tour to showcase in seven countries in seven days. Basically this turns into sevens days of no sleep and partying during the show and the partying at the after party. Crazy.

If you think you adored Rihanna before today, I would suggest watching this 3 part documentary on the 777 tour. I loved her before, now, I have no words for my admiration. None. RiRi is my girl (although she doesn't know it). I never understood the hard work and effort and just the fact that this chick does.not.stop.EVER.


Rihanna boarded her ENTIRE crew and herself on the same 777 plane and flew to each location. Mexico, Toronto, Stockholm, Paris, Berlin, London and finally New York.

"If you load 70 cases of champagne alone, forget the cognac onto a plane, you're just going to one country. I can TELL you, that's going to go off the rails. Seven countries? Add the cognac add the no sleep... everything else.... you're surprised?" - Journalist

Ear cuffs have become a huge trend as of recent. They add so much to your look. People think that more than one cuff is a bit much. However I tend to stack three on ear on the side of my head with the side cut. I suppose its personal choice but I wouldn't limit myself to one. I recently took out my cuff piercing because 6 months after I got it pierced and it has not healed yet, I realised that it is not that it has not healed, its actually because my body was rejected the piercing itself (way to go, cost me €30) and that's why this photo is in black and white, because my ear is a little red. Ok, its a lot red.

MakeUp Look - Work

When it comes to makeup looks for work, I always like there to be a sort of "vocal point" to the makeup whether its a strong lip colour, statement cat liner flick or a strong smokey eye.

Today I went for a bold dark lip colour, strong brows and soft natural smokey eye. This look is very striking with nice contouring and soft highlighting.

I'm Wearing Black Until They Make Something Darker

I'm going to open with my personal opinion of the colour black. I adore black. I think it represents a medley of things; mystery, sophistication, seduction, comfort, strength and so much more. The LBD has been around for years and there's a reason why. Women feel comfortable in black; its slimming and gives a sense of empowerment. Black is a bold colour that can strengthen any look. A strong bold red lip and a strictly black outfit can say so much by doing so little. My wardrobe is predominately black mainly because I feel my best in black and because its a very professional colour.

Black is not actually a colour in itself. It is the absence of colour entirely. That is another reason why I find it alluring. Before the Big Bang there was darkness - blackness; and the world will potentially end in the same way.

In no way am I encouraging or suggesting that your wardrobe be filled with dark clothes. I am merely saying that there is more reason to love black other than the fact that you look slimmer in it. There is a history to the "colour" black and what it symbolises. Frans Hals painted with 27 shades of black.

So when you go put on your next LBD or black blazer that you have always received compliments with, know that when you wear it, you're saying more about yourself than you might realise.
