Beyoncé Fan "Taps That"

Looks like Baby-B was unimpressed during a performance of "Irreplaceable" in Denmark when a fan tapped her ass. She was reaching out to her fans and when she turned around some dude copped a feel. 

The singer was completely appalled and responded by saying "I will have you escorted out right now, alright?" 

Apparently Beyoncé and Jay-Z have denied rumours of their second child when assumptions were made after she started cancelling shows due to "health problems".

The world tour is said to continue its shows over the summer until the wrap up show in Brooklyn.

Marilyn Monroe Inspired Look

This is my interpretation of Monroe's look on Emma. It helps having an amazing looking model. 

Very glam glam. Bold red lip colour. Strong brows. Contoured eye and face. Pale colour on lid. Eye liner and loads of mascara and false individual lashes. 

And of course our little beauty spot to finish things off.

1940s MakeUp Look

1940s makeup consists of more of a brow in comparison to the 1930s. It was during World War II so there was not a lot of money to purchase makeup or brushes so women used what they had available to them. They used soot as eyeshadow, beetroots as lip stain and spread gravy other their legs to make it look like them had stockings on and drew in a seem line.

What women won't do for beauty eh? 

I only used 4 makeup brushes and limited myself to 4 products.

On A Film Set

Recently I was asked by my close friend Mikey Andreasson, to be lead makeup artist on his set for a short horror film. Naturally I agreed and asked Mollie Jakubowski to assist me.

The most badass crew in the business

It was an amazing day, we did mainly SFX looks. Gaunt looking Jews or crazy looking German scientists. I love working with actors and film crew. They're the most interesting and charismatic people. It was very tiring. I arrived on set at 13.30 and left at around 22.30. Long day but there was food and tea and coffee to keep us all going.

I'll post a link to the short film when it is finished.

Today's buys differed greatly... Starting from top left:

Topshop - Bra-let. I've been in dire need of one of these because there are some shirts that you just can't wear a tank top underneath. €25.00 (before student discount)

The reason for the special effects makeup is because I am working on a film tomorrow (Sunday) with a good friend of mine and I am bringing along a fellow makeup artist to assist me as well.

Leo invited Rite Ora AND Cara Delevingne to be his dates for French premier for The Great Gatsby. Everyone thought this was an opportunity the two girls could not say no to but, Cara surprises us again.

One Direction member, Niall Horan has allegedly has his eye on Louise for quite some time now. Flirtatious comments on Twitter have now led to them talking on the phone constantly. Insiders reveal that Louise has become slightly love struck by the 1D boy band member as he sent a taxi to her home in Chelsea to pick her up one night......

Will Great Novels Ever Make Excellent Film

This thought occurred to me whilst I was reading Paul Whitington's article in the Irish Independent this morning. He was reviewing The Great Gatsby and stood back from the topic to ask himself and readers, are great novels just not made to be for screen. 

He noted that Mario Puzo's The Godfather wasnt a great novel but when it was interpreted to film it was seen as "one of the finest films of the 1970s". 

And I have to say, I have to agree with Whitington. Also, it's another reason to keep the paperback around (because, lets face it, kindles are crap looking) and we need to keep hard copies of these classics intact. Books are beautiful. You decorate your house by stacking them around your living areas. They look darling on coffee tables and they are also nice to pick up and step out of the real world with. 

This is why I'm going to pick up a paperback copy of The Great Gatsby this afternoon. And not the one with Leo's face plastered across the cover (as much as I love DiCaprio). I'm going for the Woolworth's classic. (About €10 cheaper aswell).

Will Smith's Return To The Graham Norton Show

Smith returned to the Graham Notron show after hitting 8million youtube hits from his previous appearance on the show as he rapped the theme tune to the all time favourite Fresh Prince of Belair.

Will returned with his son Jaden and blew everyone away with their father son duet.
