Biebs was not received well at the 2013 Billboard awards. He walked away with two awards, one for Best Male Artist and the second for the Milestone award in which Justin was up against other artists such as Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars.
J came up onto the stage wearing black aviators and didn't proceed to take them off until he mentioned the big man upstairs. Justin is the first artist under 19 to have 5 number 1s on the Billboard 200. He asked to be taken "seriously as an artist" and to cut out all that "other bull". While all this happened there was a constant volume of booing from the crowd to which Justin responded by saying "I'm 19 years old..... I think I'm doing pretty good".
